Juan Fernando Quintero will end his contract with River Plate on December 31 and his continuity is not clear, since the negotiations to sign a new contract have not advanced.
Quintero spoke with ESPN in Argentina and only made it clear that, whatever happens, love for River will always exist; But you can’t rush to make a decision about your future.
“I have a contract until December 31, I thank River because this time they have allowed me to be here due to the issue of the solution we are looking for. I thank Demichelis that he also left me. Everyone knows the situation and the truth is that yesterday I spoke with the president and everything is the same, nothing has changed”, commented Juanfer.
Quintero revealed that “I have offers to go to other places but I want to make the decision with a cool head.”
And he spoke as a farewell, which leaves River Plate fans worried: “There are many things to want, what can be given is different. I was always direct and transparent, today I have nothing with River, only the link until December. Now I am a free player and I am very happy for everything I experienced”.

“I’m not going to talk about it anymore. The truth is that it is not for me to move forward, I am just a player and that is what my representative takes care of. I trust my representative and I trust the people of River. I love River, the people are incredible. It is not a farewell, it is the reality that I tell. We all want many things but the reality is different”, added Quintero.
