Juan del Campo (Bilbao, 28 years old) was left out of the top 30 this Sunday in his debut in the Slalom World Cup in the 2022-23 season. The Biscayan finished the first descent in 43rd place, which left him out of the best in Val d’Isere, France. His teammate Quim Salararich did not qualify in the top 30 either.

The man from Bilbao finished just over three seconds behind the first classified in that initial descent, the Norwegian Kristoffersen. Salarich did a little better, but he didn’t get to enter among the most outstanding at the first stop of the World Cup either, he was 2.32 seconds behind, in position 33. The winner was the Norwegian Lucas Braathen, 22 years old. . The next test will be held on Thursday, December 22 at Madonna di Campiglio.
