Jorge Garbajosa and Antonio Resines sign the collaboration agreement between the FEB and ymás
The Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB) and the strategic cultural sponsorship consultancy, ymás, have presented the signing of a collaboration agreement between both entities at the Teatro Lara. Jorge Garbajosa and Antonio Resines, presidents of both entities, have formalized the agreement.
The agreement aims to coordinate and promote cultural projects that are linked to the events organized by the FEB, with the aim of mutually expanding their audiences, reaching new audiences and generating a greater impact on society, combining the benefits of sport and culture.
Jorge Garbajosa has affirmed that “Sport and culture always go hand in hand. First of all, because both worlds do our job in front of the public. And we also have the education of the little ones as an essential part of our roots. From basketball we can offer fans of culture what basketball brings. I think it can be a satisfying experience, especially now that the kids have a lot of leisure options”
Antonio Resines added that “They are two worlds that we have a lot to do with, but there have never been many agreements. It’s interesting that we joined forces because I think sport and culture should always have gone together. We will bring out cultural products and the Federation sports products and we will unite them, which will be very satisfying for the fans.”
