The CEO of RACE becomes the youngest leader of this organization
Jorge F. Delgado, CEO of RACE, is from this Wednesday the new president of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. FIA Region I, made up of 101 mobility clubs representing more than 100 million members and motorists, has chosen the Spanish candidate to become the youngest president in the history of this international body.
“This appointment has great challenges ahead that we will face in close collaboration with the member Clubs of the different countries through the plenary assembly, the Board of Directors and the presidential board,” said Jorge F. Delgado this Wednesday.
International executive specialized in business transformation, the CEO of RACE (Royal Automobile Club of Spain) has a multidisciplinary background. He is a Telecommunications Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a General Management Program from the IESE Business School, to which he adds a postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence from MIT.
In addition to his executive functions at RACE, Jorge F. Delgado holds positions of responsibility in different government bodies including; ARC Europe Group, where he is vice president and president of the advisory board, the RACE Foundation, where he is a member of the board of trustees and the executive commission, or the FIA itself, where he is a personal member of the World Automotive, Mobility and Tourism Council.
