Jamal Musiala beckons new mega contract!

Jamal Musiala has developed into one of the best young players in the world in the past 2.5 years. Looking at his performances for FC Bayern in the current season and the German national team at the World Cup in Qatar, the 19-year-old has already left the talent status behind and has matured into a real regular player and top performer. Musiala has recently been repeatedly associated with top European clubs. According to current media reports, Bayern want to extend the contract with the offensive player ahead of schedule and keep the 19-year-old in the long term.

Musiala signed his first professional contract with FC Bayern in March 2021, which binds him to the German record champions until 2026. Even if the DFB youngster does not have an exit clause and has made clear commitments to FCB in the recent past, those responsible at the Isar want to equip Musiala with a new contract

“Of course, we told his mum Carolin and his management before the World Cup that we were very happy with Jamal and let them know that we wanted to sit down with them after the World Cup to talk about Jamal’s future at Bayern “Said sports director Hasan Salihamidzic to “Sport BILD”.

“Important building block for the future of FC Bayern”

Club boss Oliver Kahn also emphasized that Musiala was “an important building block for the future of FC Bayern”. According to the newspaper, the first concrete talks between the club and the players will take place in January.

As “SPORT1” reports, Musiala currently earns eight million euros a year. Performance-related bonus payments can increase the salary to almost eleven million euros. One thing is clear: Bayern have to dig deep into their pockets for an extension. With eleven million euros, Musiala is not necessarily one of the “low earners” on Säbener Straße, but is far removed from players like Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Serge Gnabry & Co., who are rumored to all earn between 18-20 million euros .

An early extension would be a clear sign to the competition from Spain and England that Musiala is still not for sale. According to “SPORT1” information, the shooting star himself is in no hurry to extend.
