In Iran, protests by the people against the regime of the Ayatollahs have been going on for almost three months. The repression has already been highly violent, but despite the civilian casualties, the demonstrators were not afraid and always took to the square and the streets. But now the government in Tehran has decided to change the tune applying zero tolerance true all those who demonstrate.

They had been announced massive mobilizations between 5 and 7 December 2022. As the pasdarans, the police, the morality police and the Ayatollah heard this news, they opted to do taste buds hitting the protesters. The Security Council of Iran said: “The security forces, with all their strength and without tolerance, will cope with each new uprising, which has so far been supported by foreign intelligence services“. An atmosphere of civil war is expected on the Iranian streets. Now it will be necessary to wait a couple of days to see the move of the protesters. Will they take to the streets or will they let themselves be intimidated by government threats?

One of the latest assassinations by the Tehran government

Among the latest victims of Tehran’s repression is a 27-year-old youth who was killed by police after cheeringtogether with many other compatriots, for the victory of the USA over Iran which sanctioned the elimination of the Iranians from the World Cup. For the anti-regime, a sporting defeat was the equivalent of a government defeat. The Ayatollah had indeed stated that the success of the national football team would be a source of credit for the regime.
