Indoor archery: a quality competition

Two quality trays

On both afternoons, 81 archers representing 20 companies from Gironde, mainly clubs from the Metropolis, competed. On targets located 18 meters away, each competitor shot 20 ends of 3 arrows which could bring him a maximum of 600 points. Over all the events, the organizers were delighted with the quality of the competitors, 36 of whom reached or exceeded 500 points. Five scored a total of over 550 points. The best performance of the day was by the senior Mérignacais, Yoan Van Houvenhove, compound bow, with 563 points obtained. The awards ceremony, at the end of the Sunday meeting, in the presence of the mayor, preluded the closing reception.
