Gymnastics seeks to turn the page against La Unión

Gimnasia y Esgrima (10-3) will receive La Unión de Formosa (6-9) this Sunday at the Founding Partners from 8:00 p.m. in a new day of the National Basketball League.

After last Wednesday’s tough defeat against Comunicaciones, the Patagonian team will seek to turn the page in a tough match against La Unión de Formosa, which comes from losing to Platense in overtime.

For this match, Agustín Barreiro will return to the track after overcoming a physical discomfort while the North American Wayne Martin Jr. will be available to debut at the Green.

For its part, the Formoseño team will seek to return to victory as a visitor after five games without being able to win in this condition. The team led by Sebastián Ginóbili currently has a negative record in the competition, but it still presents itself as a strong team with great scoring ability, since among its ranks they have the American Thomas Cooper, one of the main scorers of the competition with an average greater than 18 points per game.

Those in charge of refereeing the match will be Daniel Rodrigo, Gonzalo Delsart and Pedro Hoyo.

Both teams previously met in this competition on October 25 when Gimnasia defeated La U in the Cincuentenario by 72-67, in a game where Yoanki Mencia was the main figure with 22 goals.
