Geneva: Course de l’Escalade: almost all the Federers wet the jersey

They came and they all ran, or almost. The entire Federer family was in Geneva on Saturday for the very popular Course de l’Escalade, with some 45,000 participants. “Genevois were able to meet prestigious visitors: the Federers. Mirka even took part in the race,” reports the “Tribune de Genève”. The RTS also made the same observation, broadcasting some images of the stride of the wife of the tennis legend.

Registered in the Women III category, Mirka Federer completed the 4.8 kilometers in 25 minutes and 22 seconds, finishing in a very honorable 147th place out of nearly 900 participants. No doubt for a little discretion, it was registered under the name “Mirka Fed”.

Looking at the results, we see that four other “Fed” also wet the jersey. The twins Myla Rose and Charlene Riva, 13, ran in the Schoolgirls A category. And their younger siblings, Leo and Lenny, 8, in the Chicks A8 category.

Should we deduce that Roger is the least athletic of the Federer family? Maybe not…
