There would be no offers for Lewandowski, Koundé, Araujo, Pedri, Gavi and Ansu Fati

Five of them have a termination clause of 1,000 million euros

The economic situation of Barça and, especially the difficulties it has with financial Fair Play, in addition to the mandatory reduction in the first team’s salary bill, could cause the departure of an important player next summer, a footballer who can leave money in the club’s coffers.

There may be a few players in question, although At Barça they are clear that there are six untouchable footballers. Five of them because they are the present and the future of the entity (Araujo, Koundé, Gavi, Pedri and Ansu Fati). The sixth, Lewandowski, because he is the crack that is making a difference since his arrival.

The Polish attacker, top scorer in LaLiga with thirteen goals, arrived last summer from Bayern for a fixed 45 million euros plus five in variables and signed a contract until June 30, 2026. His performance is excellent. Barça once again has a top scorer and a footballer who makes a difference. Also a leader both on and off the field, who teaches youngsters. And a commercial claim. He is 34 years old, but at the club they expect him to finish his career at the highest level at the Camp Nou.

Another of the footballers who arrived at the club last summer, Jules Koundé, is also untouchable. The Frenchman is one of the best defenders in the world and for this reason Barça paid Sevilla a fixed 50 million plus variables. His versatility allows him to act both in the center of the rear and on the right side. He signed with Barça for five years and has a clause of 1,000 million euros.

In fact, this clause is the same that the other four untouchable footballers have, a figure that is already quite a declaration of intent for any club that is tempted to go after them.

Of the four, Ronald Araujo and Gavi were the last to renew. The 23-year-old Uruguayan did it in April and until 2026. The Andalusian, in September, also until 2026. The central defender is indisputable for Xavi. Injured since the end of September, he went to the World Cup but did not play. He is already prepared to return and could do so in the derby against Espanyol. Gavi, for his part, is a fixture in midfield both at Barça and in the national team at just 18 years old. He has won this year all the awards that reward the best European footballer under 21 years of age, taking over from another of the untouchables, Pedri. Both Araujo and Gavi are waiting for their new contracts to be registered in LaLiga in this winter market.

Also untouchable are Ansu Fati and Pedri. The former inherited Messi’s ’10’ and became Barça’s emblem despite his young age. He is now 20 years old and has a contract until 2027. Injuries have cut short his spectacular career, but he assures that he is already one hundred percent. Xavi believes that he must be decisive in this second part of the season and the striker has taken the glove. At Barça, they know that there are few players in Europe with more goals than him.

And the last of the untouchables is the Canarian Pedri who, at 20, is one of the best midfielders in the world. He has a contract with Barça until 2026 and few footballers in Europe have his magic. He is an unbalancing player with his magnificent last pass and his great vision of the game. One of those so necessary at Barça to sublimate the style.
