The Nagano Prefectural Baseball Association was established in April of this year with professional and amateur players such as the Prefectural High School Baseball Federation and the BC League Shinano Grandserows, with the aim of systematically working to support the youth generation and increase the baseball population. was positioned as a regional organization. We will systematically promote the discovery and training of young baseball players, support for school baseball, coach training, and training of female baseball players. The inaugural general meeting was held at this time based on the status of the new coronavirus infection and the implementation status of each organization’s planned projects. The general meeting was attended by 23 people, including representatives of the constituent organizations. We discussed and approved a total of four bills, including the board of directors, bylaws, business plan and budget.
Mizukami’s talk show will be held at Miyata Village Hall from 2:00 pm on the 17th. In addition to looking back on this season, he will talk about his memories with his teachers from elementary and junior high school days. As the association’s first project, on the 10th, technical guidance seminars for junior and senior high school students will be held at four venues, including Ina Kita High School and Ina Yayoigaoka High School.
President Akahane said, “With the cooperation of the constituent organizations, we were finally able to establish an association. First of all, we would like to work hard to expand the children’s baseball population.”
