During the game between the Mavericks and Warrios, Draymond Green he had exchanged verbal exchanges with a bystander at the American Airlines Center on Tuesday night. Green had said some rude words in passing (“Sit down and shut your mouth” and “Enjoy this fucking game and shut up”), so he was logically sanctioned by the NBA for having “made rude comments towards a fan” with a $25,000 fine.
Just that Alykhan Rehmatullah, the fan insulted by Draymond Green, later declared on Twitter… that he would have paid the fine, because he was not offended by those words. “It wasn’t supposed to end like this, we were just having fun. I will pay off that $25,000 and donate it to the charity of your choice or NBA Cares. I’m waiting for your call.”
A gesture obviously appreciated by the Warriors player, who has not yet contacted his benefactor. “It’s nice, it doesn’t happen every day.”
@Money23Green I’m the guy you yelled at. Shouldn’t be like that, we were just having fun.
I’ll match the $25k to your favorite charity, or @nbacaresyour call lmk! https://t.co/EdAUH3h51z
