The CECorriol Oliva Green Fliss paddler, Júlia Malonda, was the most outstanding player of the team in the table tennis championship of the Valencian Community for children and juveniles, which was held in Alicante last weekend.
Júlia was on the podium twice, first as team runner-up with Zoe Peiró after losing the final, and then as fourth individual classified.
For its part, the Olivense children’s men’s team was eleventh with Enric Malonda, Zhihao Zhang and the youngster Blai Malonda, while in the children’s individual Enric Malonda and Zhihao Zhang reached the 1/8 final.
The junior Blai Medina proved his worth. He was eliminated by a close score for what would later be the regional champion and was congratulated by the Spanish champion and former Olympian, Sara Ramírez.
