Dirk Nowitzki (44) was given a great honor! The German basketball player really took off after moving to the USA and is now one of the most successful athletes of all time. As the keepers of the Hall of Fame announced on Wednesday, they could Dirks Achievements will soon be rewarded: The basketball idol will most likely be inducted into the NBA’s “Hall of Fame” next year – because he has received a nomination. In 2019 he ended his active career after 21 seasons in the North American professional league with the Dallas Mavericks. To date, he is the sixth-best points-scorer in league history and the most prolific scorer born outside of the United States.
