David Ravetto 3e du Alfred Dunhill Championship

On the course of Leopard Creek, David Ravetto was third Thursday, with a card of 67 (-5). Author of six birdies and a bogey, the pupil of Benoit Ducoulombier placed himself in the top 3 of the Alfred Dunhill Championship (South Africa), at the end of the first round.

Far behind him, we find, on the tricolor side, Antoine Rozner in 51st position at -1. He is followed by Clément Sordet, second at the South Africa Open last week, and Jeong weon Ko in par at 67th position. Above par, Robin Sciot-Siegrist is 86th at +1 ahead of Matthieu Pavon and Gary Stal 126th at +4. Joël Stalter is 134th after a complicated start at +5.

The South African, Thriston Lawrence is 17th at -3 while we find Ernie Els and Louis Oosthuizen, the highest ranked player in the field in the 51st world ranking, in 31st position in the tournament at -2.

The leader is local Dean Burmester at -7. With a total of eight birdies and a bogey, the world No. 58, the second highest ranked player in the field, took the provisional lead in the tournament after this first round.
