Activities for all ages, from the IX Badminton Coexistence to the traditional San Silvestre on December 31
The Coria City Council, through the Department of Sports, has prepared an extensive program of activities for Christmas.
This sports calendar will begin with the IX Badminton Coexistence, organized by AD Badminton Coria. This event will be on December 11 in the Sports Pavilion starting at half past nine in the morning. The modalities of individual and doubles, masculine, feminine and mixed will participate.
In addition, another coexistence will be held, this time football-7. This year the ninth edition will take place and it will be of a solidarity nature, since there will be food collection for local Cáritas. This activity will take place on December 26 at the “César Sánchez” municipal field, starting at half past nine in the morning. To attend, the entrance will be the contribution of basic food products.
The following collaborate in this initiative: Cáritas Interparroquial, the Association of Caurienses Referees, Association of Caurienses Veterans, Civil Guard, CD Coria, Juventud CF, Peña Atlético de Madrid, Peña Junta de Defensa, Peña Juventud Cauriense and Peña El 27.
In turn, on December 29, the little ones will be the protagonists of a traditional games workshop. The place chosen has been the Municipal Sports Pavilion and will begin at twelve in the morning.
As is tradition, the XXV San Silvestre Christmas will also have a solidarity purpose, in favor of the Toy Collection Campaign. This race is scheduled for December 31, leaving at five in the afternoon from Alfonso VII avenue. Registration can now be done at the link http://deportescoria.blogspot.com.
In addition, the Christmas program will also include the II Modernization Camp for soccer players and goalkeepers, from January 2 to 5, 2023. This activity is organized by CD Coria and the “Chema Martín” Soccer School. Young people from the pacifier, prebenjamín, benjamín, alevín and infantile categories will be able to participate. Children who want to register must go to the CD Coria headquarters.
It should be noted that the districts of Rincón del Obispo and Puebla de Argeme will also have sports activities during these dates.
