Cody Bellinger agrees with the Cubs

Right now, major league baseball’s attention is focused on Aaron Judge. After Jon Heyman claimed that the Judge, renaming him Arson, had signed in San Francisco, he pulled himself together to mention that he had tweeted too fast.

So the Judge and Arson jokes began.

At this time, the Yankees would still be in the race, but it was not he who signed first among the outfielders.

Cody Bellinger is going to the Cubs for $17.5 million.

This morning, we learned that Bellinger was going to sign for nearly $20 million, which is a huge amount for a guy who hasn’t driven for two years.

It’s especially a lot considering the Dodgers let him go so they wouldn’t pay him around that much in 2023.

Either way, he’ll be a free agent in a year. And if he is traded by the Cubs this year, he will not be able to receive a qualifying offer in a year.

The Blue Jays were in the race, but he will have chosen the Cubs, who are starting to spend again. Will Toronto turn to Brandon Nimmo?

  • Soon advertising on the jersey of the Jays.
  • Will the Jays pay the luxury tax as needed?
  • Kodai Senga is in demand.
