Success of the two representatives of Badminton A Estrada in their participation in the Spanish Under 13 Championship that took place yesterday in the Region of Murcia. Silver and bronze for Sara Sanjurjo and David Domínguez after both signing a great championship in which the best athletes in Spain in the category gathered.
The players from the Coto Ferreiro team traveled this weekend to the Murcian town of Las Torres de Cotillas to play the Spanish Under 13 championship, also known as “Wanted Champion 2022”, and after holding a great tournament they managed to get on the podium and get his coveted medal. Thus, Sara Sanjurjo, brought the silver as a couple with her partner from Oviedo Belén Soto, after making a beautiful final, against the Galician player of San Amaro from A Coruña, Inés Poncela and the Ibizan María García, which was decided in two sets with a score of 21/17 and 21/12 in favor of the latter.
Sanjurjo was once again on the podium in the State, this time in the third drawer, getting the bronze medal with his club mate David Domínguez, who despite having a good game, could not get into the final due to the quality of their rivals.

From CB A Estrada it was pointed out yesterday that they signed “a good tournament for both of them, with which they culminate their good season with the most beautiful reward, getting a medal in their Spanish championship, measuring themselves against the best in very even duels and disputed by all contenders.”
