BVB: Assistant coach Peter Hermann leaves Borussia Dortmund! | Sports

Surprising news from BVB!

Assistant coach Peter Hermann (70) will leave Borussia Dortmund with immediate effect, ending his long career.

At Borussia, a new position has opened up in the coaching team in the middle of the World Cup break. It should be closed until the start of training in January.

The whole football world is talking about it That’s why Ronaldo just sat on the bench

Sports Director Sebastian Kehl (42): “Peter has asked us for his release for health reasons. It goes without saying that we have complied with his wish.”

And further: “Last summer we were incredibly happy that Peter – although his personal life plans did not include it at the time – decided to spend another year in professional football and for BVB. In him we are not only losing an experienced, technically excellent trainer, but also a great person.”

Hermann, who knows the Bundesliga like no other (almost 1000 professional games as an assistant): “My time at BVB was short and yet very intensive. I have come to really appreciate this club, the team and the entire environment over the past few months and enjoyed working for a club that loves and lives football so much. Unfortunately, I’m not allowed to work longer for Borussia Dortmund, because of course health always comes first. From now on, I will keep my fingers crossed for BVB from a distance in all three competitions.”

BVB coach Edin Terzic (40), who loses one of his most important contacts: “Peter Hermann leaves a very big gap for all of us in the assistant trainer position, both professionally and personally. In addition, he will be missed as a friend and companion at my side. From the bottom of my heart: Thank you, Peter.”
