A category tennis tournament crowned its champions • Diario Democracia

The “Hugo ‘Topo’ Teilleri” Cup tennis tournament for men, which took place at the facilities of the Bosque Tenis and the Junín Social Club, was successfully completed, with the participation of local exponents and populations of the region.

The organization was in charge of Matías Sciutto and Bautista Monti, who highlighted the participation of more than 160 tennis players, including all categories, in this contest that lasted three weeks.

At the end of the championship, the awards ceremony and a plaque of recognition signed by the District Mayor, Pablo Alexis Petrecca, were given to Professor Hugo “Topo” Teilleri, who has more than 40 years of experience in this sporting activity.

From the organization, the Government of Junín was thanked, through its Sports Directorate; to the leaders of the Social Club for giving up their facilities; to the sponsors for the help provided to make the tournament a success and especially to all the players who participated.

In the fourth, García established himself, by beating Tillous in the final, while in the third singles, Fauda was crowned, by scoring in Muñoz’s decisive match.

In individual intermediate he was the winner of the Yanone tournament, beating Zapata in the final, while in second singles the title went to Darío Cosentino, defeating Altamirano.

In doubles, the second division champions were Matías Sciutto-Ponce, defeating the Enzo Destéfani-Santos pair in the decisive match.

In the third category, Darío Cosentino-Bermúdez celebrated, after defeating Muñoz-Juan Echaire, while, in the fourth division, the champions were Basilio-Richelmini, defeating the Paletta-Cosmi duo.
