Word got out that Gavi’s figure had stolen the attention of Princess Leonor from Spain. He is also said to have fallen in love with the 18-year-old footballer.
As reported by Football Espana, Putri Leonor is said to have collected photos of Gavi. His school folder is filled with photos of the players who filled in for the halfback position.

Even Princess Leonor’s father, King Felipe VI, is said to have asked Gavi to sign a shirt for him. The King of Spain himself took the time to go to Qatar to watch Spain’s match against Costa Rica live on Wednesday (30/11/2022), where Gavi and his team won 7-0.
