FIFA decided to change the date of the opening match a few weeks ago so that Qatar could be the first to play.
Initially, Senegal and the Netherlands were going to open the curtain on the World Cup on November 21 at 1:00 p.m. local time, but FIFA finally ruled out this option. The Dutch will make their debut that same day but at 7:00 p.m. And they will go from opening the World Cup to being framed in the third game. The English will debut before Iran.
We Spaniards will have to wait for the debut of La Roja. Spain, framed in group E of the World Cup, will debut three days after the opening day. It will be on the 23rd at 5:00 p.m. against Costa Rica at the Al Thumama stadium.
