In the France group, Lithuania won this Sunday afternoon in Finland, 56-65.
The Lithuanians caused a break in the first quarter (9-20) and brought down the general address of their rivals to 27.0%. Finnish star Awak Kuier was once again expensive with a 7/24 on shots for 19 points.
Kamile Nacickaite was Lithuania’s top scorer with 24 points. Giedre Labuckiene had 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Lyonnaise Juste Jocyte 9 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
