Despite having only nine players on the scoresheet, the Under 15s of the PFV faced Pol. Reba Basket in Turin and came back with a beautiful and convincing game bag victory 19-68.
From the trend of the partials of the quarters it can be seen that the match was controlled by the Vercelli players throughout the 40′who started well, pushing hard on the accelerator without committing the usual flood of errors in the basket conclusion phase, as often happens to them, thus closing the first set 4-16, conceding very little to the landlords.
In the second quarter Anastasio’s girls didn’t give up, taking advantage of their good moment and the defensive compliance of their opponents, so that in the middle of the match the score said 8-37.
The recovery did not change thingsalso because Reba didn’t go beyond 4 points per period, while PFV maintained a good level of intensity and play, so it was 12-54 in the 30th minute and, from here, we went to the end without problems, concluding with a difference of 49 points which, objectively, are not few.
On the shields, all in double figures, Emma Prinetti (27 points) well supported by Dikrane (12) and French (10).
The next match for Gianfranco Anastasio’s girls will be on Saturday 3 December at 3.30 pm in Sozzago (NO), against Cerrus Basket, for the first return match.
