Those responsible for the most important tennis tournament in the world have slightly relaxed their strict dress code and have thus met the concerns of the players.

How athletes manage their periods during competition has received more attention recently.
British tennis player Alicia Barnett, for example, spoke openly during this year’s Wimbledon tournament about the stress of having her period during the games and then having to wear white underwear. From 2023, this provision will no longer apply. This was announced by the organizers of the lawn classic on Thursday.
After consultation with everyone involved, it was decided to also allow dark underwear. Wimbledon will take place from July 3rd to 16th in 2023.
