Valladolid is reunited with victory by beating Elche

The Real Valladolid was reunited this Saturday with the victoryafter falling in El Sadar against Osasuna, by beating Elche 2-1 in a duel in which a great Edgar Badía prevented a local win and became a difficult wall to overcome.

Both teams came out with a bang. In fact, the elche tried to surprise start searching the local area bravelyalthough it was Plata who was able to open the scoring after 26 seconds, although his shot ended up being deflected by Edgar Badía when the José Zorrilla crowd was already singing the goal.

was imposed a strong pace of play that did not give room for respite in one area or another. Both teams had the firm intention of controlling the ball and being more vertical, and in this task the blanquivioleta team stood out more, which, thanks to its defensive pressure, caused losses in the rival and that gave it greater dominance.

The intensity dropped considerably as the minutes passed. The team from Elche could not generate danger and the Valladolid player tried to do so on the right wing, but with little precision.

After a great save by Badía to a header from Óscar Plano, The first blanquivioleta goal came thanks to a cross shot from Javier Sanchez.

Real Valladolid’s income could have been increased, but the Catalan goalkeeper prevented Sergio León from adding another goal. Definitely, Badía was the best player for Jorge Almirón’s men in the first half, which concluded with a minimal local advantage in proportion to the dominance shown.

In fact, as soon as the second half began, in which there were exchanges of chips in both teams, andhe Real Valladolid extended that rent after a steal of the ball by Plano, who passed to Plata so that he gave a millimeter pass to rock table, who beat Badia with an accurate shot from the penalty spot.

Badía ended up becoming a real nightmare for the blanquivioleta players, especially for Plata and Óscar Plano, who saw how their shots, at close range, were repelled by the Elche goalkeeper.

Interestingly, in the middle of the local siege, Elche squeezed the result through Josan, a pass from Pere Millain one of the few shots on goal by the people from Elche.

But Jorge Almirón’s men did not put up much of a fight in the last stretch of the match and Valladolid was able to clinch the victory with hardly any suffering.
