Reactions:
Sweat, rigor, the will to perform together, leads to great things! Our women’s team, reinforced by the Englishwoman Lucy Renshall and led by high-level coach Anthony Rodriguez, lived up to its elders who have already marked the history of judo in Europe (12th victory in the European Cup for Orléans ). It’s a source of great pride for us, especially after such a career where we beat the biggest Parisian clubs, Ste Geneviève, PSG and Champigny. Congratulations to the girls and I am very happy for all those who work on a daily basis to ensure that Orléans remains a stronghold of French and European judo. So thank you to the staff, to all our partners and to the city of Orléans, the Loiret department and the center Val de Loire region for their support.
Maëlle Di Cintio, president of Us Orléans

“We are so happy for the team because we wanted to win so much today and of course we are extremely happy with our great performance. It was a difficult day for us but when we won against PSG, we felt said that we had beaten the best team so that everything was possible. Before coming here, our coach, Anthony Rodriguez, told us that we were going to win”.
