The Oviedo Badminton Club (CBO) won two silvers and one bronze in the Spanish Under-19 Championship. In the women’s singles, Amaia Torralba, from Belmecher but who is preparing at the El Cristo Sports Modernization Center and is a member of the CBO Division of Honor team, lost the final to Nikol Carulla. On her way to the final, she beat Laura Álvarez from Oviedo. In women’s doubles, the aforementioned couple won silver after losing in the final to Nikol Carulla-Lucía Rodríguez. In the semifinals they defeated their teammates Leyre Suberviola-Jana Villanueva, who later achieved bronze by defeating Nerea Eraso-Martina Peña.
