With a couple of easy victories against the Mexican hosts, the Cuban team that participates in the first Baseball 5 World Cup concluded undefeated after two days of competition, and seized one of the three disputed spots in its group A to go to the super round of the tournament.

The fans against that filled the improvised stands in the famous Zócalo square, located in the center of the historic center of the city, had no influence at all, and with the hot hands that they have exhibited since their debut, they won the first match 21-0 by super knockout in three innings, and 10-0 in the second by knockout in four innings, using some substitute players.

Pablo Terry’s pupils had no mercy with powerful connections that exceeded 70 miles per hour of speed and crushed a quintet that looked very weak on the court and that lined up with three females on their roster.

With this result, the Antilleans continued to demonstrate their great superiority, at least over their key teams, by scoring a total of 86 runs and conceding only six, in the four challenges they have held in this world event.

Now, when there is only one day left to finish the qualifying phase, Cuba leads 4-0, followed by Japan (3-1), Mexico and Lithuania (2-2), South Africa (1-3), and Hong Kong (0- 4)

This Thursday the rivals of the Caribbean will be the Japanese, in a game that is important because the results are dragged with the teams that go to the next phase, and the Asians must be one of them.
