AS Trencin uploaded a photo on the club’s Instagram story after the Indonesian striker scored a rescue goal against Liptovsky Mikulas in the Slovak League, Saturday (5/11).
Witan Sulaeman scored his first goal in the Slovak League this season as well as saved AS Trencin from defeat at the Futbalovy Stadium, Poprad.
The Indonesian national team striker managed to score a 1-1 equalizer in the 83rd minute after continuing a mature pass from Samuel Kozlovsky.
The process of Witan’s goal occurred after the player from Palu ran into the Liptovsky Mikulas penalty box and was able to cheat Kozlovsky’s cross to score a goal.
The Witan goal made AS Trencin safe from defeat. The reason is, until the 82nd minute Trencin was 0-1 behind after Liptovsky Mikulas managed to take the lead in the 67th minute through Erik Jendrisek’s goal.
