Transfers – PSG – Lionel Messi would agree with Inter Miami (MLS)

The future of Lionel Messi is becoming clearer, and it seems to be written far from Paris. According to The Times, La Pulga, who delivered Argentina against Mexico on Saturday night, should indeed join MLS next season. Inter Miami, a franchise notably owned by David Beckham, could obtain the agreement of the sevenfold Ballon d’Or in the wake of the World Cup.

Suarez, Busquets, Fabregas… Who to accompany Messi?

Unsurprisingly, the 35-year-old would then become the highest paid in the history of the North American championship. And that’s not all, since the Florida franchise intends to surround Messi with a competitive team. To do this, among the targets studied, two are former teammates of the left-hander: Cesc Fabregas, who plays on the side of Como in Italian D2, and especially Luis Suarez, who had found Uruguay and the Nacional last summer. Cadena Cope even indicates that Sergio Busquets would also have decided to join Miami. Obviously, it remains to respect the rule of the designated player, preventing a franchise from having in its workforce more than three players exceeding the salary cap set by the League.

Beckham at the heart of the game

A potential move facilitated by Beckham, including the role of Qatar’s World Cup ambassador, although decried in England, gave him direct access to decision-makers in Paris. Much like his longtime association with Adidas, common to Messi, cemented the relationship between the two men. While Argentina is far from out of the woods in this World Cup, the former Barcelonan is certainly far from thinking about his future at the club. But from January, everything could go very quickly.
