three weeks after being fired from Anderlecht, Felice Mazzù bounces back to Sporting de Charleroi!

After being thanked in Anderlecht on October 24, Felice Mazzu is back at Sporting de Charleroi. Already passed by the carolo club between 2013 and 2019, Mazzu succeeds Edward Still, thanked on October 22.

After leaving Charleroi in 2019, Mazzu, 56, went through Genk, Union Saint-Gilloise then Anderlecht where he was dismissed the day after the Clasico stopped on the ground of Standard.

For his second stint with the Zèbres, the Carolo technician has signed an indefinite contract and will work with the staff already in place, including Frank Defays who will still be acting on Saturday evening against Mechelen in the league.

Mazzu will take over the group from November 28 to prepare for the second part of the championship after the World Cup with a first match against… Anderlecht at the end of December.
