The absolute judo team of TSV, which trains every day at the municipal facilities of the Diego Lobato Sports Center, traveled last weekend to La Línea de la Concepción (Cádiz) to play the qualifier for the absolute Spanish Championship, which will take place at the beginning of December in Madrid.
The Huelva team, led by coach Santiago Mazarío, was made up of six athletes, of which two obtained the classification, Paula and Javier Pérez. For their part, Juan Delgado (-60Kg), Jaime Pérez (-60Kg) and Rafael Jiménez (-73Kg), despite carrying out a demanding competition, were left without reaching the podium, ending up in seventh position in their respective categories. Sandro Martín (-60Kg) obtained a hard-fought bronze, which was not enough to get the ticket to Nacional. Finally, Paula Pérez (-63Kg) and Javier Pérez (-60Kg) qualified for the national final thanks to two well-deserved silver medals, after losing only in the final bouts.
In this way, one more year, the TSV will be represented in the Spanish Championship of the highest category of judo, showing year after year its regularity and constant work of the team and all its athletes.
