“The triathlon was my therapy”, says Célia Lerideau, finisher of the Ironman of Hawaii

“Doing an Ironman in 11 hours is work, doing it in 17 hours is merit. “Célia Lerideau has the sense of the formula. She has also been in these two situations during the two Ironman events in which she participated. However, the 28-year-old young woman is absolutely not a sportswoman at heart. Younger, the resident of Saint-Leu-la-Forêt (Val-d’Oise) never practiced sport. She went through difficult times in her teenage life. Since the age of 18, Célia has suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder linked to depression. She becomes anorexic and weighs only 45 kg.
