The PSG hand is essential, the Ile-de-France volleyball players in the hard … It was your sports weekend in Île-de-France

Since last season, “Le Parisien” has been reporting every weekend on all the results and highlights of sporting events involving clubs in the Île-de-France region.

The trap avoided: PSG is reassured against Aix

HANDBALL. It was absolutely necessary to avoid the trap, the Parisians did it. At the heart of a very dense month of November (7 games), Paris Saint-Germain received Aix, at the Halle Coubertin, and won thanks to a big end to the match (37-32). If the danger was real for the players of the capital, it is partly because, unlike in previous years, the leadership of the Liqui Moly Starligue is disputed to them by Nantes and Montpellier.

We had to wait until the start of the second half to see the Parisians take control of a match in which they were led throughout the first period. Elohim Prandi (10 goals) and Kamil Syprzak (9) carried PSG to an 8th success this season, despite a very good Alejandro Romero, author of 10 saves. Paris therefore remains the leader on equal points with Montpellier and Nantes (16 points).

The setback: Plessis-Robinson misses the mark against the red lantern

VOLLEY. A week after a surprise victory at Tourcoing which seemed to be able to really launch Plessis-Robinson, the Ile-de-France residents took a wrong step by losing at home to the red lantern of the championship, Nice, which thus extricated itself from the last place he occupied. For its part, Plessis-Robinson now occupies 9th place in the standings.

The 0 pointed: among girls, Ile-de-France volleyball looks gray

VOLLEY. 0/2 for the Ile-de-France clubs involved in this sixth day of the Women’s League A. At home, Levallois was dominated by Nantes (1-3) and remains stuck in the bottom of the rankings. Penultimate with only one unit on the clock, the Hauts-de-Seine club has still not tasted victory this season.

Quite the opposite of Paris Saint-Cloud, 6th and which already has four successes in this 2022-2023 financial year. But this weekend, the Franciliennes left empty-handed from their trip to Moselle. On the Terville-Florange floor, they lost 3-1 and saw their opponent of the day come back to a small point. They will host Saint-Raphaël on the next day on Tuesday evening while Levallois will host Le Cannet.

The setback: the leader Pontault-Combault falls in Lorraine

HANDBALL. The series of six consecutive victories ended this weekend for Pontault-Combault, leaders of the second division championship. On the Sarrebourg floor, Guillaume Saurina’s men conceded their first defeat of the season (36-30). The Seine-et-Marne club retains first place but sees the other Ile-de-France formation, Tremblay, come back to match. The troop of Cherif Hamani indeed went to win in Nancy (31-36).

HANDBALL. Starligue (9th day): Limoges – IVRY (36-29), CRETEIL – Selestat (40-37), PSG – Aix (37-32). Proligue (9th day): Nancy – TREMBLAY (31-36) ; MASSY – Besançon (40-35), Sarrebourg – PONTAULT-COMBAULT (36-30).

VOLLEY. Ligue A (8th day). PLESSIS-ROBINSON – Nice (1-3) ; Tours – PARIS (3-0).

Women’s A League (6th day): LEVALLOIS – Nantes (1-3); Terville-Florange – STADE FRANCAIS PARIS SAINT-CLOUD (3-1).
