Good performances by the four Astarco archers who took part, between Saturday and Sunday, in the Interregional 18m held in Cantalupa (TO), organized by the Iuvenilia Society.
The competition, valid for qualifying for the Italian Championships and for the National Ranking, was played over three rounds of competition: the first on Saturday afternoon and the other two on the whole day on Sunday.
The best satisfactions for Astarco come from the young Alessandro Rizzo who, in the Boys’ Olympic competition, conquers the top step of the podium. A gold, which, thanks to 445 points, also allows him to ring his new personal best of the season.
The hard and constant training also brings a new personal best for Massimo Moscatiello in the Senior Men’s Olympic Arc with 534 points.
For the Master Men’s Olympic Bow Category, however, Fabrizio Arossa is ninth with 518 points.
The “Selvaggio” Andrea Pescatori loses its edge and with only 485 points he is positioned seventh in the ranking of the Male Master Nude Bow.
In the meantime, in the gymnasium of the “Way Assauto” club in Corso P. Chiesa in Asti, the winter introductory archery courses have started under the careful guidance of coach Roberto Milan.
