Trevor Booker ended his career in 2020 after eight seasons in the NBA with the Wizards, Jazz, Nets, Sixers and Pacers and an international stint in China.

Trevor Booker: Business empire followed after NBA career

While Booker has earned more than $34 million over the course of his career, which would be enough money for several lifetimes, this amount is really just “peanuts” for him.

Not too many fans know that while he was playing in the NBA, Booker built a business empire alongside his college roommate, Jonah Baize.

More than 200 properties

The two own more than twelve companies, they have interests in half a dozen other companies, they own a group of six private schools (Combine Academy).

They also own more than 200 properties (residential and commercial) in several states, a stake in the DC United soccer team and have started investing in startups.

Objective: billionaire

at OpenCourt Booker revealed that his goal is to become a trillionaire:

Question: “You actually said in an interview that you plan to become a billionaire…”

Trevor Booker: “Yeah, my original goal was to be a billionaire too, but I’ve been thinking about it lately. I think I want to reach a trillion now! I think that’s realistic, especially in the times we’re living in – salaries will keep going up, inflation, technology, there’s a lot of money in tech – I think that’s a realistic goal!”
