Stöger and Grünwald: – “Whether there is a kicker or not…”

“In my opinion, it wasn’t the kind of grotta kick that was sold in Germany,” says Peter Stöger. On the day of the big World Cup match between Spain and Germany, he and his former protégé Alex Grünwald are guests in our World Cup studio. Stöger believes in a “positive design of the game” by the Germans. Also a topic on the show with Michael Fally: the excitement about the fact that DFB coach Hansi Flick – contrary to what FIFA intended – showed up at the press conference without a player by his side. Stöger: “I think it’s unnecessary. Whether there is a kicker there or not…” You can see what he and Grünwald also have to say about Joshua Kimmich, Hansi Flick, Leroy Sane, Sergio Busquets and Alvaro Morata here in the video (above).
