Schedule and where to watch the Copa del Rey draw live, second round

This weekend the matches of the Copa del Rey initial round were held and the names of the 56 teams that will be present in the draw for the second round are already known: the 55 classified in the first round plus Racing Santander, exempt in the previous one due to his status as champion of the last edition of the Federation Cup. The four teams that will play the Spanish Super Cup (Real Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Betis and Valencia) will continue, however, without entering the drums.

As usual, the draw will be held at the Soccer City of Las Rozas, an act that will take place next Wednesday, November 16, starting at 5:00 p.m. The matches of this second round are scheduled in the season calendar for December 21, three days after the World Cup final in Qatar. The meetings of this round could be spaced between the 20th and 22nd of that same month.

It will not be a pure draw and the pairings will be directed. The 56 teams will be divided into five pots: the first with the 14 First Class teams; the second, with 16 Second Division teams; the third with the balls of the 11 First Federation teams that have achieved the pass; the fourth, with the 13 RFEF Second Division that are still alive; and the fifth and last, with balls from Arenteiro and Real Unión, the two teams that are playing in the Cup as semifinalists in the Federation Cup.

According to the rules of the draw, two First Division teams will be matched against Arenteiro and Real Union; the remaining twelve from First, with against 12 teams from Second RFEF; the remaining team from the Second RFEF and the eleven from the First RFEF will face twelve teams from the Second Division; the four Second Division teams that remain in the unmatched hype will complete the two remaining qualifiers (28 in total). As usual, the qualifiers, a single match, will be held in the field of the lower category team.
