Paris SG won despite big scares on Friday in Chartres (33-32) to take control of the Starligue alone while waiting for the rest of the 10th day and the meetings of Montpellier and Nantes.
In a match in which the teams went blow for blow, the Parisians (18 pts) took the lead definitively 56 seconds from the end thanks to their Latvian giant Dainis Kristopans. Chartres then had the equalizer but Hugo Jund lost the ball about fifteen seconds from the final whistle.
PSG can also thank their Polish pivot Kamil Syprzak, author of 10 goals with 100% success, and can calmly wait for Nantes-Istres and Montpellier-Limoges scheduled for Sunday.
In the other matches of the evening, Nîmes (39-31 winner at Ivry), Chambéry (31-24 at Sélestat) and Dunkirk (28-25 at Aix) all three won away, scoring the panties (12 pts) behind the leading trio.
