Padua. Casapound, written in Political Science and Nievo made to provoke the antagonists

PADUA – Those writings celebrating the March on Rome would have been imprinted on the walls of the Faculty of Political Sciences and on those of the Nievo Scientific High School, not by chance. According to the indictment, represented by the prosecutor Sergio Dini, the Casapound activists wanted provoke the antagonists violating their two centers of knowledge. This is why the Digos blitz was necessary, to avoid possible clashes in the city between the two factions of the extreme right and extreme left. When on Monday morning the police searched the headquarters of Casapound, on the Paleocapa coast 20/B, they found and seized various materials including helmets, a baseball bat and some smoke bombs. For investigators it is proof of one organization within the neo-fascist group: anyone who went to the headquarters could use helmets and sticks for any action, even violent.

At the moment, five Casapound activists have gotten into trouble for the writings. In total, between Padua and the province, there are about twenty members of the far-right movement. A small number, according to the investigators, but which is slowly merging with Forza Nuova, another neo-fascist movement: both are looking for followers. The five were entered in the register of suspects on charges of apology of fascism and aggravated damage. During the searches by Digos, two flags were also seized: one of the Republic of Salò and the other with the swastika imprinted on it. The historical symbols of fascism and Nazism. At the home of the five suspects, however, the policemen found the clothes and spray cans worn and used during the blitz to compose the celebratory writings of the March on Rome. The group, despite having helmets to blend in during the soiling action, was immortalized by video surveillance cameras. In the Facebook profiles of the five who ended up in trouble, a whole series of photos with banners hanging around the city with fascist and sovereign writings were posted. Among the “likes” the most popular link is that of Educazione Padovana. That is, the ultras of Padua. It is reported on the Facebook profile of the movement «Educazione Padovana is a lifestyle, a brand that you have in your heart and a horizon in your eyes». In fact, it is not a novelty that during the Padova matches, the fans organized in the Fattori sector also exhibit flags with symbols linked to fascism and Nazism.
