RONCHI DEI LEGIONARI Being a city of sport is not enough. If, on the one hand, it is necessary to underline the more than a thousand practitioners and the 29 clubs that operate in various sports disciplines, Ronchi dei Legionari is called to safeguard that world that has given great women and men of sport who were born or lived here. Ronchi dei Legionari has 65 associations operating in the most disparate fields, present in the non-profit register. Associations whose engine is driven by no less than a thousand managers and volunteers and which then boast as many, if not more, athletes and managers. An important story is that of As Ronchi football, born in 1945, but no less long is the road traveled by Ronchi baseball present since 1959. And then many realities in every discipline. Here the associations, by virtue of the approval of the “corrective decree” of 28 October, will have to deal with the sport reform. What will change from 1 January 2023? Just to give an answer, the provincial Csen (National Educational Sports Center) organized a conference, aimed at amateur realities, which in the future will face this unknown factor.
Several realities in the Isonzo area have already thrown in the towel, both due to the economic difficulties and the pandemic issue, but now the duties and obligations can be overcome with the help of the institutions. This is what the Department of Sport of Ronchi dei Legionari proposes to do which, together with the Csen, intends to create a network that gives sport managers the opportunity to have points of reference through which to operate. «It is our intention to lend a hand to the associations – explains the commissioner, Alessandro Bassi – even if this matter is not strictly within our competence. Starting a series of meetings, a sort of information desk, with the contribution of Csen and experts in tax matters, could mean not leaving alone those who, in a few weeks, will have to extricate themselves with new regulations”.
On the occasion of the first conference, some local professionals in the sector were called, such as Giampiero La Torre, Ivano Nicola and Massimiliano Castagnaviz, members of the “Consulenti Aziendali” company of Ronchi dei Legionari, who have been collaborating with Csen for some time. The innovations underway will lead to an epochal turning point for the sports system in Italy. It will probably be necessary to vary the rules of some statutes, the rules on minors will change and even more predominantly the management of coaches, who will become sports workers. The transition from the Coni 2.0 register to the new national register of amateur sports activities, active since the end of August, will also lead the associations to become familiar with a new tool that will replace the old register.
It will certainly not be a simple thing. «The purpose of this first initiative – underlines the provincial president of Csen, Valter Tomaduz – was to inform the sports associations affiliated to the institution in advance, so that they can begin to elaborate and structure the change in progress and not arrive unprepared for the change. In reality we hope for a postponement of the maneuver, to give more time to the administrators of sports associations to put this new process into practice ». Meanwhile, it begins.
