The hunt for the top scorer for the 2022 World Cup is starting to get busy. Alvaro Morata added a goal on matchday two and Andrej Kramaric scored a brace.
Morata added one goal when Spain drew 1-1 against Germany in the second matchday of Group E for the 2022 World Cup at Al Bayt Stadium, Monday (28/11/2022) early morning WIB. The Atletico Madrid striker has now collected two goals from his colleague, Ferran Torres.
Croatian striker, Andrej Kramaric, also appeared to enliven the golden shoe competition. He contributed two goals when Croatia beat Canada 4-1 at the Khalifa International Stadium, in the Group F match which was completed, Monday (28/11/2022) early morning WIB.

The number of goals for the two players is still inferior to Enner Valencia and Kylian Mbappe, who have torn the opponent’s goal three times. Richarlison has the chance to match or surpass Valencia and Mbappe’s goals tally if he can lead Brazil to beat Switzerland in Group G’s second matchday match.
So far there have been 67 goals scored in 28 World Cup matches. Of that number, there were 43 players who contributed one goal.
