Podoroska leads the Argentine illusion
Rosarina Nadia Podoroska will face Beatriz Haddad Maia from São Paulo today in the first point of the best-of-five series that will animate the Argentine women’s tennis team against Brazil, in Tucumán, for the Billie Jean King Cup playoffs. The “little” Podoroska, ranked 204th in the WTA world ranking, will be in charge of taking the first point today from 12 o’clock and with TyC Sports televised against the most qualified rival of the series, Haddad Maia, 15 of the world and champion this year in Nottingham and Birmingham.
