Miami stops Phoenix, Boston goes up to 7 wins in a row

Jimmy Butler’s defensive play on Devin Booker in the last possession of the game gives Miami the victory against Phoenix, while the Tatum-Brown-Smart trio leads the Celtics to their 7th consecutive victory, the Milwaukee Bucks find Giannis Antetokounmpo (27 points ) but against Atlanta they collect the third knockout in the last four games (106-121). Orlando without the injured Paolo Banchero also loses against Charlotte, Toronto wins in Detroit, all easy for the Clippers against Houston, Golden State walks against San Antonio (36 points for Poole). For once, a great defense beat a great attack: Miami takes the victory (113-112) against Phoenix thanks to a super block by Jimmy Butler (5/12 shooting, 16 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists) on Devin Booker (25 points and 8 rebounds) on the final and decisive possession of the match, in which in the space of a handful of seconds the Suns miss three potential conclusions that could have been worth the draw. At the final siren there are 21 points from Duane Washington, called together with Payne to replace the injured Chris Paul. And Boston confirms itself as one of the most fit teams in the NBA: seventh win in a row (126-122) won in the sprint after being down by even 15 lengths in the third quarter and posting the partial 37-26 in the last fraction. Thanks to Marcus Smart with 22 points (20 of which came after the long interval), Jayson Tatum’s 27 and 10 rebounds, Jaylen Brown’s 26 with 11/21 shooting – in addition to 10 points from a crucial Payton Pritchard , one of the players leading the Celtics comeback with fifteen minutes to go.
