In the controversial audio it was heard how Joaquín Valdés, psychologist of the national team, responded to a request from a follower who asked for a message for his wife. The fan, in question, said that his wife, María, “was close to the World Cup” and “taking advantage of the fact that the psychologist is there, send him a message to see if he calms down a bit.” And Valdés sent him a message. So far, all versions agree.
The problem is that other words by Luis Enrique were broadcast on Cadena Cope. The coach, who joked the tone used by the psychologist, stated that the woman “is extremely relaxed and has fallen asleep” after listening to the message. However, on the radio sounded a “María has become horny for sure.”
