Liverpool confirmed that Luis Díaz will be able to run again and his return to the courts is close | Colombians Abroad

Good news has come from Liverpool, where the medical staff has provided an update on their injured players and where the Colombian, Luis Díaz, has been improving and is close to returning to training on par with his teammates.

As announced by the same club in a statement delivered by the doctor Pepijn Lijnders, Luis Díaz will be able to run again for the first time next Thursday, after the knee injury he suffered last October.

“He will be able to run, we all know how important Luis Díaz was last year and in the second half of the season”, highlighted Lijnders, who also confirmed that players like Diogo Jota is the one that will take the longest to return.

Likewise, he said that the closest case to return will be James Milner, who will be able to compete, after a concussion, while the availability of Naby Keita for the weekend will be evaluated.

It must be remembered that Luis Díaz has advanced his recovery in Barranquilla, making himself available to the medical staff of the Colombian Football Federation and being one hundred percent supervised by Liverpool.

With this news that Luis Díaz can run again, Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp could have the peasant in their plans for year-end matches popularly known as Boxing Day, where on December 26 they will face Aston Villa.
