Larissa Riquelme, figure in the 2010 World Cup, and dark case of her ex Jonathan Fabbro

Despite the fact that Colombia was more attentive to Wimbledon than to the 2010 World Cup, the event that year left Larissa Riquelme as a figure who, with her cleavage, did not go unnoticed.

In fact, despite the fact that Fifa’s policies have currently changed, at that time the cameras constantly followed the Paraguayan in the stands when her country’s team played. Because of that, she was known as the ‘girlfriend’ of that event.

That allowed her to quickly gain international popularity, which declined over the years, much more so after a boyfriend she had ended up involved in an obscure legal case.

The Paraguayan model established a relationship with the Paraguayan nationalized Argentine soccer player Jonathan Fabbro, with whom he lived in Mexico because the player was a member of Lobos BUAP in that country.

However, at the end of 2017 they issued an arrest warrant against him for what, at the time, was an alleged abuse of a minor under 13 years of age, his niece and goddaughter.

Riquelme was with the player who was champion of the Copa Libertadores with Once Caldas in 2004 throughout the process, although over time lurid details became known, such as some chats that the man sent to the minor.

The so-called ‘girlfriend’ of the World Cup not only did not abandon him, but also furiously defended him until the end, despite being sentenced to 14 years in prison for the aforementioned crime.

Far from the happy figure that shone on her was the dark case of the man who, according to the Paraguayan newspaper Extra, is still her sentimental partner despite the sentence.

Larissa Riquelme did not mention the subject of Fabbro again, who left a postcard on her personal Instagram account about the woman who stole the looks at the 2010 World Cup.
