Lakers seem to enjoy the best LeBron James after returning from injury

The Los Angeles Lakers accumulate two consecutive victories, which have coincided with the reappearance of LeBron James, after 20 days in the dry dock.

Indeed, “El Rey” lost six of the last seven matches of the popular yellow and purple team due to a groin injury; however, he returned Friday night scoring 21 points, grabbing eight rebounds and dishing out five assists in his team’s 105-94 win over the San Antonio Spurs. There, the legendary forward also excelled on defense with three steals and two blocks.

LeBron James, meanwhile, was much better during the Lakers’ 143-138 win against the Spurs themselves on Saturday, scoring a season-high 39 points with 11 rebounds and three assists, adding a remarkable 52% shooting from the field. and a perfect 10 out of 10 in free.

Although the Los Angeles quintet still has a negative 7-11 record, the good moment it is going through, the reason for five wins in the last six games, makes it hopeful that it will get into the postseason access spots in one or two weeks, especially if it can fully reunite the star trio formed by LeBron, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook.
