American Derrick Louis and another Moldovan wrestler Sergej Spivak were supposed to meet in the Las Vegas APEX Octagon in the main fight, but an illness unrelated to Covid-19 and weight loss prevented Louis from entering the cage.
In the second round of the fight between Nzechukwu and Kutelaba, the Nigerian hit the opponent’s chin with a left knee, shaking the Moldovan and after a moment winning by technical knockout.
Out of Nzechukwu’s 11 wins, the Nigerian won eight by knockout.
